Hi there,

since my page is in finnish but I know that UWC unites people from all over the world, I decided to write something in english, too.

My name is Ella and I'm a 16 year old girl from Helsinki. I've always loved performing, especially acting, and that's why I moved to HKI last fall to study in a high school of performing arts. However, UWC has been in my mind for as long as I can remember, and traveling/making an effort in this world has been such a strong dream of mine that getting the full UWC Scholarship really changed the direction of my life. I got the scholarship to Mahindra, so next August I will be moving to, woah, India! India was my first choice on the list, so hearing the news got me in a shock for a solid week. One of my dreams is to work for women's rights, and through MUWCI I can hopefully go towards that.

Right now I am finishing school and working, but summer is right around the corner and I think that will speed up the UWC process and also my posting, since I have more to tell you! I didn't make a separate blog for foreign people interested in UWC, but I will probably be adding the most important updates in here.
Actually the main reason I created this page was to tell you what's up with my UWC story, if you happen to look for UWC-blogs, like I did all year long. You can always drop comments or email me  if you have any questions. Right now I obviously can't much tell you about the UWC life, but I can tell you about the applying process and the preparation process.
